Signed in 2019, the partnership between ADIAF and Sèvres – Manufacture et Musée nationaux enables an artist from the Marcel Duchamp Prize to be invited for a two-year residency at the Manufacture de Sèvres and thus confront the art of ceramics. Two artists have already benefited from this agreement : Thu-Van Tran in 2020/2021 and Katinka Bock in 2022/2023, whose work is on show at the Galerie de Sèvres in Paris until July 28.
Irène Basilis, Executive Director of Sèvres – Manufacture et Musée nationaux, and Claude Bonnin, President of ADIAF, have just announced the launch of a third residency for the 2023/2025 period. A call for projects will shortly be issued
to the 8 artists, laureates and nominees of the 21st and 22nd editions of the Marcel Duchamp Prize. A jury made up of members from each of the partners will meet in November to select the artist whose residency will begin in December 2023 and end in September 2025.

The sixth edition of the triennial De Leur Temps (of their time) will take place from 14 November 2019 to 15 March 2020 at the Collection Lambert in Avignon, curated by Stéphane Ibars.
For this new edition, De Leur Temps (of their time) takes on a new and more ambitious form as it delves into the heart of the acquisitions made not only over the last three years, as in previous editions, but since the beginning of the 21st century, i.e. almost twenty years of acquisitions. The exhibition presents no less than 182 works on loan from 77 collectors, who were asked to select major works they have purchased since 2001 from living artists.
