The opening of the exhibition of the 2020 Marcel Duchamp Prize at the Centre Pompidou took place on Tuesday 6 October 2020.
The announcement of the laureate, Kapwani Kiwanga, was announced Monday 19 October 2020.

Selection Committee for the 2020 Marcel Duchamp Prize
On Monday, October 15, the jury met to select the winner of the Marcel Duchamp Prize 2018 among the four artists nominated ofthis edition: Mohamed Bourouissa, Clement Cogitore, Thu-Van Tran and Marie Voignier. These deliberations followed a presentation of the artists by their rapporteurs, in the order above: Carlos Basualdo, Jean-Charles Vergne, Katerina Gregos, Geraldine Gourbe.
The jury composed of seven personalities – Bernard Blistène, Gilles Fuchs, Jean-Claude Gandur, Maja Hoffmann, Lawrence Le Bon, Marina Loshak and Akemi Shiraha – awarded the Marcel Duchamp Prize 2018 to Clément Cogitore, born in Colmar (France) in 1983 who lives and works in Paris.
