1 - Marcel Duchamp Prize & 3 - Tour de France
Libourne, first stage of the Marcel Duchamp Prize Tour de France organised to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Prize in partnership with Platform and Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine Méca. Dedicated to women artists, the ConfidentiElles exhibition opened on 9 October at the Fine Arts Museum of Libourne in the Carmel Chapel. As part of the regional programme of Vivantes ! exhibitions and curated by Caroline Fillon, this exhibition questions the role of women in the art world and takes a sensitive look at the subject through the resonance of works dating from the 16th century to the present day.
Seven artists of the Marcel Duchamp Prize are taking part: Farah Atassi, Yto Barrada, Katinka Bock, Ulla Von Brandenburg, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Tatiana Trouvé, and Thu Van Tran.
