Elijah Ndoumbe is an artist, moving image maker, dream weaver and collaborator. Their works, which are at once plastic objects, photographs and films, are a mosaic of poetic, sensory narratives borrowed from the realities of trans, queer and racialized people in Turtle Island (US), South Africa and the West; they are a plea for gender justice and freedom. In their creative process, the artist calls on all their senses, so the sensations of breath, body, space, desire, music and movement become key elements in the production of images.
